The Government has announced December 3rd will be the date the 2014 Autumn Statement is delivered to Parliament.
The statement is used annually as a pre-Budget report providing updates on the economy backed up with data from the OBR.
This year the Chancellor, George Osborne, is welcoming views from Businesses, Charities and members of the public on what to include within the report. Part of the new charter of openness and transparency within policy making, the Treasury is seeking originality and innovation to it's processes and requires ideas to be submitted by October 17th.
More details on how to submit ideas can be found at the Government website here
