The Chancellor Rishi Sunak has just announced an extension to the SEISS income support scheme for the self-employed.

You can also use our self employed support scheme calculator that has now been updated to show you how much you can expect for the entire support period based on your turnover figures.
The scheme will now cover the additional three months of June, July and August at a 70 percent of average turnover amount. The upper cap has been lowered to £2,190 for each month. Applicants are expected to receive the support money in a single claim they make in the month of August. The maximum amount to be paid will therefore be £6,570.
No eligibility criteria changes have been made, so the cliff-edge £50,000 maximum turnover average remains, as do requirements for the primary source of income being self employment income.
