I am confused. You refer to 'salary' but salary and wages are not the same thing. Is the 80% applicable to those wh are not s

According to the latest guidance for employers (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-for-wage-costs-through-the-coronavirus-job-retention-scheme) ... The employer will receive a grant from HMRC to cover the lower of 80% of an employee’s regular wage or £2,500 per month, plus the associated Employer National Insurance contributions and minimum automatic enrolment employer pension contributions on that subsidised wage. Fees, commission and bonuses should not be included.

Hi, We did have some server errors around this time that are now resolved. I have just tested calculations based on 100,000 and 30,000 amounts for 2020-21 and full result sets are correctly shown. Please try your dividend salary calculations again, hopefully all works this time - Thanks!

Hi, the annual bonus field seems to be missing from the UK Tax Calculator?

Ant - 06/02/2020 11:06:00

Hi Ant, Sorry! Yes it appears to have disappeared. I will have a fresh build uploaded to the website by midday tomorrow to rectify. In the meantime, try https://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/tax-guides/personal-tax/bonus-tax-calculator/ as a temporary measure.

It would be good if you could show whether "Payments on Account" would be due and how much they would be.

Why are you so salary obsessed I need all sources of income interest dividends etc and I am over state pension age so no NI

Felicity Smith - 20/10/2019 15:53:42

Hi Felicity, Please use our multiple income tax estimate, https://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/tax-calculators/personal-tax-calculators/multiple-income-tax-estimate/ or https://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/wizard/ These tools will allow you to calculate tax on all your income sources together. Enter your date of birth if your over state pension age and they will not deduct NI. Hope that helps.
