The annual gross income figure in the bonus section doesnt seem to take into account the adjustment for childcare vouchers?

Chris - 22/01/2013 16:48:34

There was an error where Childcare Vouchers were not being included in the calculation of additional tax on bonuses. This has now been fixed. Please try your calculation again.

You can use the UK Tax Calculators Wizard to calculate tax on multiple income sources, including savings and dividend income. It's free and available at http://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/wizard/

There may be a mistake in the tax calculator for 65 to 74 year olds for 2009/10 I think it should be £9,030 and not £9,490.

Roy Whitgrove - 08/10/2012 00:10:10

The rates we use in the calculators can be found in our tax rates and allowance table. I have double checked these for you and for 2009/10 for people age over 65 but below 75, the allowance before tapering is £9,490.

the starting rate for savings should be included for calculations on small incomes, to be correct and proper but good content

Colin - 14/09/2012 09:22:21

Colin, Savings income is treated as an additional income source therefore to accurately calculate tax for multiple incomes please use our UK Tax Calculators Wizard. The starting rates for savings are included as well as all conditions to make sure the correct deductions are made.
