Thank you for an excellent calculator. I would like to see the tax payable split into 20% and 40% bands to help plan pension.
Dennis Goodlad - 03/03/2011 13:57:27Thanks Dennis! You can see the tax payable split into its bands by putting the mouse cursor over the arrow next to where is says 'tax due' in the result table. This should then show you the various bands and tax amount in each.

Paul McGurk - 25/02/2011 10:17:49Your bonus amount after tax, if taxed in the same manner as your other income, would depend upon the month in which you receive it. If it is paid via PAYE at the end of april, as part of the new tax year 2011/12, your bonus would be worth £9,526.40 after the additional tax and NIC on it would be paid.
