For the month of August 2020, the Eat Out To Help Out scheme will allow people dining inside restaurants and other food establishments to receive a 50 percent discount, up to £10 per person.
The calculation for a table can get complicated as food and non-alcoholic drinks are treated differently to alcoholic drinks. The VAT rates are also different on the two categories. More than one customer could be on a single table and thus tracking which person ordered items and applying the correct discount gets complicated.

It's straightforward to use. Just tick whether you are entering prices ex. VAT or not, and then create line items for each customer and their orders. As long as you use the same name for a customer, the tool will add up each particular diner's totals and discount amount, then show the amount to bill.
