The Chancellor announced measures today to underwrite employers by paying 80 percent of a worker's salary (up to a maximum of £2,500 a month). Use the calculator below to see how this would translate to take home income.

Employers are free to top up the amount to 100 percent of income should they choose to do so. Claims can be made by employers for the rebates as soon as systems are in place, April 30th at the latest, and claims themselves will be able to be backdated to March 1st 2020.
